Free PDF Print Driver
September 10, 2008 – 8:45 amIt always seems like from time to time I will get a new client that wants an easy way of making PDFs without having to buy the expensive Adobe Acrobat product. I had been suggesting PDF995, because it is quick, installs very easily and for $9.95 can run without advertising.
Although $10 is not a lot of money for what the product does, we always find ourselves looking for something just as good for free. That’s where Bull Zip’s PDF Print Driver comes into play.
Straight from the Bull’s mouth:
The BullZip PDF Printer works as a Microsoft Windows printer and allows you to write PDF documents from virtually any Microsoft Windows application.
There are a slew of features that include support a lot of popular versions of Windows including 64bit processor versions, encryption, Windows Terminal Services, Different output formats and watermark capabilities. Best of all, its totally free for personal and commercial use (up to 10 users).
They are using the GNU Ghostscript Open-Source project that converts files to PDF.
So next time you are in need of an easy and free way to create PDFs, then remember BullZip, or atleast remember there is a free alternative to Adobe Acrobat.
